What should we do with the richest 100 people in the world? | Green Left Weekly

Walking down the streets of Perth in early hours of morning you can’t avoid catching glimpse of the growing number of young people begging for money. Is this the sign of things to come? The ‘have and the have nots’ divide in Perth is greater than ever and our fat politicians from both sides of political fence have not really demonstrated any level of intelligence  in solving the growing number of homelessness and poverty amongst the young and elderly West Australians.

Social services and charities have limited resources to solve the problem of homelessness or begging on the streets. The State government need to develop a practical plan to address social problems on our streets. The Greens Left Weekly reports that world’s 100 richest people can eliminate poverty many times over from the face of the planet! I found this remarkable. It is worth a read.
