Committee to protect journalists want major  internet corporations  such as Facebook and Google to promote transparency and fight creeping authoritarianism affecting the Internet. The highly secretive PRISM programme of NSA has been exposed by Edward Snowen, CIA’s  very own intelligence officer  is without doubt a watershed for internet freedom and democracy for the entire interconnected world. Facebook and Google  are hiding from its users its own negative algorithm programming and secret controls that undermines internet and social good of the web.
