Alhamdulliah! a good number of volunteers gathered at Rivervale Muslim community centre in the early hours of last Sunday morning to pack much needed food for the needy in our community.
This was a sheer joy to see everyone helping out. Approx 86 boxes of food was collected for needy families across Perth.
As part of the Ansaar Project, this Perth Muslim initiative attracts people from all walks of life who give their time to collect food items and pack them for local charities. Perth city musallah Association Inc is supporting the halal food bank project and is collecting food items for the monthly collection as part of its charity project. We would like to thank Sister Shameema Kolia and Sister Maryam Khan for inviting our members to take part in this commendable community work.
Boxes to be filled up.
