Islamic Council of Western Australia President Dr Rateb Junaid wishes to extend happy Eid Mubarak to every West Australian citizen and foreign diplomatic mission on such an auspices occasion marking the end of Ramadan.
This is a time for forgiveness, renewal of love and strengthening of family ties. Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the most important religious festivals celebrated in every corner of Earth and Western Australia is happy to be part of this global festivities.
This year Eid-ul-Fitr prayer is offered once again at Kings Park keeping its 20 year rich tradition despite attempts by Kings Park Authority to ban further Muslims gatherings.
A new venue at Whiteman Park to ease pressure off Mirrabooka Mosque and northern suburban prayer halls that previously faced acute traffic congestions and bigger congregations has been offered by local government and Office of Multicultural Interests.
Eid Prayer is offered tomorrow morning 8 August 2013 at the following venues:-
# Prayer at Kings Park (Hale Oval) starts at 8:00 AM
# Prayer at Whiteman Park starts at 9:00 AM
# Prayer at Perth Mosque starts at 10:00 AM
# Prayer at Langford Islamic College starts at 8:00 AM
# Prayer at Canning Mosque starts at 9:00 AM
# Prayer at Rockingham Mosque starts at 9:00 AM
# Prayer at Hepburn Heights Mosque starts at 9:00 AM
